Anyone want to go for a short run at 6:20 tonight from Community Center? I think I pushed my beat-up toes pretty hard on Sunday,so will be taking it slow tonight. Who’s in?
I will be AWOL this weekend (starting Thursday), so who wants to organize something?
Thanks a zillion again for my fun birthday run and festivities! Looks like we are in for some schedule disruption for the the next few runs.
Tonight (Thursday): The big game tonight is expected to shut down Franklin Street and snarl traffic from mid-afternoon on. Maybe we skip the run tonight? Thoughts?
Saturday/Sunday: A bunch of us are heading to Durham Sunday (including me), so I don’t know who might be up for a Saturday run (not me). Thoughts?
Special event on Saturday! Let’s help Will Hamilton, Slimey’s youngest, raise money for his Eagle Scout project. After our 9 am run, Will, supported by Mary and Nana, will provide a biscuit breakfast. Suggested donation: $5
Read about Will’s project below.

Subject: Re: Boy Scout Biscuits this Sat morn
Hi Tim,
this is Will Hamilton (Mary’s son). I apologize for sending you this email so late, but I completely forgot to send it to you last night. I believe that my mom has already sent you an email about this, but I was hoping that we could set up a run this Saturday at Seawell at 9:00 am. After the run, my mom, Nana, and I would sell biscuits, coffee, and juice for donations for my Eagle Project.
If you would like to know, the project will be at Chapel in the Pines, and I will essentially be setting up an Ebenezer (a pile of stones dedicated to God), along with a few benches, and a path to the site of the Ebenezer. I need money for materials for this Eagle Project, which is why I would like to sell food and accept donations after the run this Saturday. Please let me know if this would be possible. Once again, I apologize for emailing you so late.
Thank you!
Will H.
Soccer game at Fetzer means no Belk for us. So let’s meet at OPEN EYE @ 6:20.
BRING NIGHT GEAR
Can I get a lift?
Christelle tossed out the idea of a Thursday night track run at Belk.
Who is in for Thursday? Who wants track and who wants Gimghoul?
PS Saturday will be a trail run from Seawall. Details TBA.
Until a few minutes ago, the forecast was for rain this evening. At last check, though, we should simply be in for a cloudy run. Let’s meet at Community Center at 6:20 (to run at 6:30). We can pick a route then.
Who’s in?
meet at 6:20 to run at 6:30. Bring your night gear! who is in?
Anyone in for the Carrboro 10k ( Register NOW online!) on Saturday? I just signed up. I bet non-10Kers will organize a trail run…
See you all tonight for SoleSista Run from Open Eye at 6:20.
