It’s time for us to give a little back to a family that has given us all so much. As you know, Nana’s daughter, Kaitlin, has a rare and devastating cancer, mesothelioma, that was discovered during a recent open heart surgery. She has since undergone more surgery and is looking at a possible heart-lung transplant.
Friends and family are organizing to support Kaitlin and her family, including food and fund-raising. Jaime has rededicated a 5k that she was organizing for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for the Morellis. Jaime has already received support from many in the community, including Fleet Feet, Al’s Burger, the Crepes Truck (yum!!!) and Townsend Bertram. Let’s all get out there and log some miles and show the Morellis some blazing love!
This 5k will be in Southern Village on 3/22 at 9am. See details in the poster attached.
